A 16-year-old boy, Jellon John, has gone missing from his home in Kuru Kururu, leaving his family in distress. His father, Quancy John, 44, is urgently seeking assistance in locating his son, who was last seen on the morning of January 8, 2025.

On that morning, Quancy John left for work at around 8:00 am, leaving Jellon at home. The teenager was supposed to be preparing to attend Friendship Secondary School on the East Bank of Demerara. However, when Jellon’s stepmother later checked his room, he was no longer there.

Quancy noted that there was no argument or dispute between him and his son before he left for work. In fact, he had taken Jellon’s phone earlier that morning, but there were no signs of conflict.

The family is deeply concerned, as Jellon is described as a quiet, introverted child who typically stays indoors and does not get involved in any trouble. A report was immediately filed at the Kuru Kururu Police Outpost on the same day Jellon went missing, and police have promised to spread information to help locate the teenager.

However, his disappearance remains a mystery, and his family is desperate for answers. Quancy John is urging anyone who may have seen Jellon or has information on his whereabouts to come forward. The family is asking anyone with details to contact the Kuru Kururu Police Outpost or reach Quancy directly at +592 650-7841.

The family remains hopeful that the community will assist in bringing Jellon home safely, and they continue to worry for his well-being as the search for the missing teenager continues.
